This picture is of my maternal Grandfather Clarence Fox. He was about 2 years old when the first picture was taken in 1902. Pretty old picture. I have no idea what this type of photography was called. Second picture is Grandpa with his mother. Third picture is him in his youth playing baseball and the last picture is him with The Oakland Old Timers Team I think he was 79 in that one. Very proud of Grandpa Droopy (we called him that because his pants always drooped a little) He was also called Foxy.

Adorable, possibly stubborn and determined lil' kid! (I love him!) Did he show any of those traits as a man??

Oh definitely! He played baseball his entire life and was even asked to play professionally but they did not make much money back then so he just kept playing for fun. He played until he was 80 years old with the Oakland Old Timers Team. I will post more pics of him. Because he was just so awesome! And his father my Great Grandfather came to California from Switzerland and was a Gold Miner working in Gravel but died in a Mine accident in 1904.
