This is a cute porcelain baby doll, that I purchased at a thrift store recently , although I'm trying to cut down on dolls I couldn't resist this baby she is complete with gown and full under garments knit booties a cloth diaper and of course she was only 5 bucks, the marks are kind of confusing is she an early Bye - Lo Baby doll or a reproduction, there are several marks on her neck, some are hard to read. The red ink mark looks written on could this be who owned the doll, it looks nothing like the marks on the back of the head, I would appreciate any information, I've looked on line to try and find any similar marks on these type of dolls and I'm stumped on this one.
Hi, it looks like it says "Horsman"

Although i really don't know if it's an original or a repro. The overall look makes me think of a newer doll. I'm sure Manikin will know when she stops by.
It is a reproduction of a Horseman doll . The top looks like it may say Vernon Seeley who made and sold doll reproduction molds for you to paint . The was done in a ceramic doll making classs , By the person who signed it . It looks like Horseman's Tynie Baby or Tinie Baby I have seen it spelled 2 ways .

Thank You Both for your information , with so many marks and several dates it was quite confusing! The doll does say Vernon Seeley with a number and then it reads 1924 by E. I. Horsman Co. Inc . Thanks Again!
Then it is one of the molds he made from a antique doll head and sold them blank :-) And you very welcome
I have an E.I. Horsman (Tinie/Tyne) porcelain doll as well. The back of the head is marked E.I. Horsman 1924, and I'm sure it says 'made in Germany' as well. It is in excellent condition however, the clothing may have discolored a little. It's currently in my storage unit. It was a gift from an avid porcelain doll collector before she passed away. If it is real do you have any idea what the value would be?
Me again. I have pictures of the doll if that would help. I also have a few other dolls from the same lady, one is a BeBe, I think that's how you spell it. I honestly don't know anything about these dolls so any info would be appreciated.
