i found these giant foundry molds the other day in my favorite junk shop and bought them. these are each over 5 ft across. i am using them for entry / exits into a children's garden / play area i designed for a beautiful victorian in Alameda. i had to paint them thoroughly because kids will be climbing all over them and i don't want them to be exposed to any dangerous factory chemicals.

    where's the foundry molds category?

I want to come meet you and hang out! What are they made of? What were they molds for?

i have no idea what they were for Celiene, but they are made of beautiful wood. i would have liked to not paint them, but because they'll be played on, i felt it necessary. you are welcome to call me and come over to the nursery on almost any weekday. that would be fun! 510-409-5858

Are they solid wood? I'll have to make a plan to come over! Right now, I am consumed with renting out my one bedroom cottage in Redwood City. But I would definitely love to come meet you and see your place!
