Picked up 3 insulators on my vacation. This one is supposed to be fairly common but this is the first one I have seen in person. It is a fairly large with a diameter of 7 inches wide.
To backup a bit this is Hemingray N0 1 Provo Type. Used for high voltage lines from 1893-1910s. Seems to make this is 100 year old piece of glass.
Photographed this on my deck, a space I need to use more. The birds and chipmunks like it.
