This honking big and heavy COROCRAFT Pin / Brooch has a gold tone metal setting with a large amber rhinestones, smaller rhinestones, faux pearls, and faux pearl teardrops. As you can see one of the seed pearls is missing. This is probably an easy fix. It measures approximately 3 1/4" x 2".
I think it is ugly as sin. Must be rare because few people thought it good enough to buy. We have tried to find more information on it but it seems to be rare. Don't know when it was made.
I agree with nutsabotas6 - it's beautiful!!!
it is not ugly! I like it!!
So mean to say it's ugly....but we all have our own opinions ;)
I love Corocraft and many collectors would love to add this to their collection.
Sell it and it will be gone fast. Even if someone wants it just for parts.
I will see if this piece is in one of my books and let ya know.
If not the library has great ref books for CoroCraft.
Well maybe it isn't ugly. It is big, gaudy and heavy. I'm not a woman but it seems that a brooch this big and heavy will always be problematic.
I couldn't find the Coro Craft mark that is on this brooch. I wish it were real gold. What a great Christmas it would be. lol
It is PERFECT for reenactments & CosPlay!
It was made in the 70s, Renaissance revival style.
I have this same one! Even the missing jewels are the same.
