    I think this is a bread plate. it represents a type of california pottery which i really like - strong / simple graphic and elegant simplicity. i really like some Wallace and Tepco pieces.

      Date code A-6 means this was manufactured in June 1959. Though Wallace is known primarily for custom restaurant and hotel china, they also created many lines that were available to the public. This is from one of those public lines.
