This is a close cousin to the one posted by beyemvey recently. It's pink spatter on a white ground cased in clear.
The final picture shows how the depth of pink could vary. It also shows how a ring of clear glass was laid around the perimeter of the base so that the leafy feet could be pulled from it.

BEAUTIFUL collection of WELZ-- love it!!
scott
A new shape to me.Quite fanciful but in the spirit of Welz.
Thank you scott, I know how you love Welz, and other glass from this period.....me too!
Thank you, Ivonne. Welz certainly shipped a lot of glass in ornate styles to England in the later Victorian period as it was all the rage back then. Whether this style was specific to Great Britain and they produced less flamboyant styles for their region I don't know.
Congratulations solo - beautiful pieces. I love to see stories that tie into other stories It adds to the scholarly pursuits :-)
Thank you beyemvey, I quite agree.
Thank you for the loves everyone.
This is such a lovely vase Peggy! It has a beautiful color and wonderful shape!
Ooh lovely. What a wonderful shape. The variety of different Welz shapes seem endless!
Thank you, Rick, I suspect there are quite a few more variations on this shape still to appear.
Thank you, Fran, I totally agree :)
