This Loetz vase is in the Creta Glatt design. It is about "6 tall and the fan is about 6" wide. The base is about 3" in diameter. It has openings for 5 stems, and the body has a conical shape. The green glass has a purple and gold metallic iridescence. c. 1898.

This is one of my favorite Loetz shapes Bob. I had one a while back, sold it, regretted it and bought another one! LOL. I've been meaning to post it for some time but just haven't gotten around to it... One of these days :-)

Nice - yours also in Creta? Some of these are in various Phaenomen decors (drooling :-) Bob

No Bob, unfortunately it's not Phaenomen, it's Creta Pappilon.

Nothing wrong with Creta - some folks also love simplicity and clean lines too!
