Brookfield #16 Double Groove Insulator Green

Picked this up in an antique mall in Cambria, in the California Central Coast area.
According to the price tag this is a Brookfield #16 Double Groove insulator. It is a small insulator so it is most likely for a telegraph line.
Also it has drip points which I think is a bit less common for Brookfield insulators.
I am thinking early 1900s for this.
