    Hi, Have never used your site before and was recommended by someone in the USA.
    I have an EPC vase that has the first original marking on the base, I have attached photos and I was hoping to find out if it is genuine, original and from the dates mentioned on website of EPC.
    Any information would be very much appreciated

      I think your vase is an original, it looks it has a right wear and the backstamp looks right.

      Unfortunately the gilding is worn badly and the quality on these range from quite good to very bad. Yours to the latter.
      They are known in todays terms as George and Martha Washington vases or lamps whichever the case may be. They were usually very mediocre transfers similar to scenes of the beautiful Sevres handpainted ones. I have one large palace urn made by Sevres and has their marks.
