Another great Belmont Glass works cake stand; amazing how this pattern looks and feels like cut glass. Belmont only gave this pattern the line number 100 but it is a really nice deep cut daisy and button pattern.

Beautiful! I've noticed that cake stands in my neck of the woods (Netherlands) seem to have gathered interest lately.

That is an elegant stand. I love the intricate base. I'm not sure where you find your treasures but keep hunting and posting! Thanks for sharing.

Where do you find such old cake stands? I've never even heard of Belmont Glass. Most of my cake stands are mid century... as in the 1950's or 60's. I love the base on this cake stand. I love the scalloped center.

I've been collecting stands for about 20 years. I started by visiting the many antiques shops and local flea markets. Then I started online with eBay and track those auctions. Many of my eBay purchases are unidentified or misidentified listings, which can often be had for a song. Tho' there are several eBay bidders who are often tough competitors. There are a few local real-estate offices with online estate auctions where I have also found a few stands lately. I'm always looking...
