This seems to be an Heritage Furniture 1950's buffet. It is made of Teak and seems to be hand crafted. I found similar pieces, but would like to find as much info as I can. Any help would be much appreciated.
Drexel Heritage is an American company, based in North Carolina. Drexel merged with the Heritage company in the 1950’s. It looks like oak grain inside the drawers, but I can’t see the grain on the outside, however most American Mid-century modern furniture was made of walnut, not teak, but I’m not an expert. They commissioned some popular designers during that period, so more research is needed.
PS, can you crop the first 2 pics and brighten them a little, it’s hard too see
I will try ro get better photos. I will add some lighting. I know that Drexel bought Heritage Furniture in 1951. Do you think k that this piece is pre-1951?
I really don’t know. The company is still in business, so you could try contacting them. If you could find the designer, the value would go up considerably
