I was given a Gruen ladie's watch by mother, that she bought possibly late 1940's or early 50's. The face is square and on top and bottom of the face there are 3 small round diamonds. On the face it says Gruen under the 12:00 and Precision on top of 7-6-5 on the bottom. On the back it says Gruen WO 14K on top
B
On the bottom it has this number U11143
The wrist band is bracelet link, 2 elongated vertical links and then 1 elongated vertical link in between the 2 links, then 2 and 1 link all around.
I was wondering if anyone had come across another watch like this.
I would more info about this particular watch.
I have the same watch butit is actually signed. It was a valentines gift 02/14/1952, 10kgf on the back and rist is 12kgf. something is written underneath, the gruen symbol. Is it worth restoring, gruen 10kgf bezel stainless steel, pat 2097055 U.S.A.
