This is a very handy thing namely a magnifying glass through which we, collectors, often sit watching our newly acquired jewelry.
This beautiful antique silver magnifying glass has three marks; one the Dutch maker's mark (N B) the second the old Dutch little sword (silver mark used from 1953) and another 925 for Sterling Silver. I believe is around 30 x magnification. The early plastic lens just swings out from the solid silver fretwork design casing. Given the motive of the silver cover I date this magnifying glass post 1953. What's your idea about this?
The same time I got these very nice oval silver handpainted earrings. No marks but tested for silver and nice matching the blue tassel color.
Grrreat!!! A collector must have piece :-))
Heavy patina on the ring, I think you're right for the era.
Pretty eaarings too!
Thanks Kyra as always very professional and friendly comment
Very nice! Not an antique, however. The design is a Celtic Knot and the case dates from post 1953.
Here is exactly the same design from a British silversmith,

Bonnie! Exact one! I was wrong with the era :-/
Kyra and Efisgirl, no it' s vintage indeed post 1953 made by a Dutch silversmith there are three Dutch marks.
Yes, this is definitely vintage. You can email these folks and ask if they know who the silversmith is, as I did not find the initials listed on the website.
