    doll was my aunts so a good 40 to 50 years old. clothes are knitted by my nan. unsure of metal piece in back. eyes open and close. getting old showing age a bit now. move able limbs. says kadar on back. kept due of sedimental value. love to know more and value.

      The metal bit is her voice box and she would have talked at one stage. As you lifted her up she probably said "Mama". I had one very similar in the 60s.

      Here is one like yours same mold number with a voice box that sold on ebay recently

      thank you so much I never knew it was a voice box it never spoke when I was given her.

      It doesn't really speak it makes a noise that sounds a little like Mama . Many dolls have voice boxes but the bellows wear out and quit working .
