1922, Flop in its day, not much was done to preserve it. Unbeknownst to those in charge of film in the day didn't predict the furor Valentino's passing would cause worldwide!!! For decades this film was counted as a "lost film", but around 2005 a partial copy was unearthed running in bits and pieces partially destroyed by age damage. They spliced the remains together of what was found and added photo stills, and some titles and came up with a bad but treasured(!!) example we can see and judge. I was fortunate to see that and enjoyed it immensely Some of the talked about risque costuming by Valentino's wife, designer Natasha Rambova can be seen, and quite a bit of Valentino flesh.. and enjoyed immensly too.Hee Hee.
The movie sheet music is as rare as hen's teeth!!Musical Theme Of The Photoplay (Above) Suggested to be played during the silent film.
