I saw the engine turned design and decided I needed to buy it, lol! This lighter looks to be silver plated, but don't quote me. It was pretty much dark gray/black and silver polish cleaned it right up. The spark still works. I've never heard of Denon and there is precious little to be found on the web. I don't collect lighters, so I hope somebody can fill me in on this one.

VINTAGE DENON * PIEKO * ELECTRONIC GAS - so maybe the 1980's or so if the Electronic type

Interesting....... I'd only known DENON as a record label -- I have several vinyl 45s and LPs from the 1960s ~ 1980s from my Mother's Japanese gift shop. Nice looking lighter! [;>)
scotty - not something I would normally buy! There seems to be very few of them.
NB - it must be the same company, huh? I couldn't find anything else aside from one posting on Worthpoint/eBay of one with a different design.
