small metal ring or jewelry box

Update: Thanks to a post from itsforsale of a wooden jigsaw puzzle of "The Angelus" by Jean Francois Millet, I now believe that one side of this box shows Millet's The Angelus and the other side is a depiction of The Gleaners by Millet. ***I don't know anything about this little metal box. It has some fancy work around the edges. The two side panels show people working in the fields I think and possibly praying. Marked Japan.
