    This bottle came today! It was sold to me as a hardstone bottle, but I suspected it was russet jade. I did a specific gravity test and it came back at 3.4 so I'm pretty sure it's jadeite.

    I absolutely love the way the carver turned the red streak on the side into a monkey.

    It has the monkey and peaches theme - the monkey symbolizes longevity and is carrying the peach of immortality. On the reverse is the fungus of immortality.

    The bottle is very well hollowed and the base is slightly concave. The bottle is 5cm tall.
