    Hello,
Can anyone tell me if I'm on the right track? The barrel containing the dice appears to be horn that has been turned out in the center. The top is threaded and screws on. I was curious if anyone could confirm the material (I realize it's going by photo could be a challenge). Also, any idea of what time period this item or one like it may have been produced. It's nothing special, but I was just looking through a few things today that I have been curious about.

    Thanks,
    Mike

I just found one in a box of items from the 1930's and posted it under "micro dice"
