I'd always assumed these were British made Victorian Art Glass, but based on information garnered here, I now believe they are Kralik.

Any confirmation on this attribution is appreciated.

very nice pieces :) are they hand blown too?
    4. scottvez scottvez, 13 years ago
      Yes-- they are.

Take a look at Alfredo's listings on here. He is the Kralik guy on the forum and can probably help you with your glass.

Just wondering how you arrived at the Kralik conclusion. These pink and white flowers are also found on glass that is much more typically English than Bohemian

As Alfredo states in post #2, the JIP is in a Butler Brothers catalog from 1900. The flower in the other vase is typical Bohemian.

Sorry for the late reply jay-- thanks for looking and commenting. I wouldn't think that the leaf side would differentiate makers.

Could be that it is a right handed thing. It would be easier to apply to the right of the flower for a right handed artisan. Maybe it was being done this way to sell as a pair (with a mirror appearance for mantle display). I am just speculating-- someone else may be able to provide a better answer.
