This was a piece turned in to Geri for melt down. She saved it for me and I picked it up this past Thursday. I paid about $6.00 for it. As you can see by the photos, the silver marks are more or less illegible. I do know this pendant wasn't made in the Netherlands as it has no sword mark. The second photo is of the marks on the chain.
Reminds me of a rocket ship which landed on the Moon. :-)))))
Thanks for stopping!

A steal :)
Is it really Art Deco, or just in that style - I'm not questioning you bad here, just interested to know how you know.
The rocket ship pendant is nice but the chain is what I'm looking at ~ Wow! [;>)
looks like part of something on the chain loop said * Co. * on it....???
**Also just a thought here......Could the pendant part of it be Sand-Cast ?? or hand-Cast? As the imperfections in it remind me of that -- but I do not know. Just throwing it out there.

Nice one Bonnie!!
wish I could see those marks....the chain looks like chains Ed Wiener used on some of his sterling silver necklaces w/pendants in the 1950's.
I love it Bonnie. Nice save!
karen - I'm going on the design, since the marks are all but obliterated. It just looks like something from the Art Deco period but might also be 1940s/1950s. I thought about that 1902 movie where the rocket ship hits the Moon in the eye..."Le Voyage Dans la Lun".... LOL!
It might be 1950s, too....
rose - that's possible. Thanks for the links.
mel - it's so frustrating when the marks have all but disappeared.
Looks like somethinh from a 30's - '50s sci-fi pulp magazine! super find!!! - Cheers! - Bob
