So back in the day, this cockade was worn on an officer's visor cap. I have no clue beyond that it is Soviet, known as a 1969 parade cockade, mostly used by the Air Force. Thought you might enjoy seeing this little curiosity.

Karen, it is cool, isn't it? I thought of posting it here because of the current obsession in US politics with Putin, lol. Think I bought it at the swap meet, there's an old man there who sells the strangest bits and pieces. :)
