This is the second posting from my demi-parure by Bernard Instone. This necklace is truely very pretty and a pleasure to wear. As I said in my posting on the earrings these pieces were made circa 1925. In my opinion they are very wearable in this day and age. The necklace is very long and as you can see in one of the photos I've doubled the chain around my neck, as a rule I don't like long necklaces, I think it looks nice and I really don't want to change the chain so this is how it's going to stay.
There are no marks of any kind, but there is no mistaking his work.
Many thanks for looking
That is simply BEAUTIFUL!!!!
Absolutely beautiful! You're right in keeping the chain as is :-))
Such a beauty!!!
Jean, I am very rarely envious. ....but I have to admit that I am green now lol.
Well done with this necklace and earrings they are beyond stunning!!
Thank you Scott, as always it's a pleasure to see you on my postings. I really do appreciate your comment.
Hi kyra, I'm not sure if the chain is original, but it does compliment this pendant. Looking at some photos I see that people wore these chain in this way.
Awwww, Judy thanks for your comment. You are getting a wonderful collection together yourself, I enjoy looking though your wonderful pieces.
Thank you martika.
Thanks Jean, and could I trouble you to have a look at the earrings I posted a couple of days ago please. Jewels thinks they might be Zoltan White & Co with the Austro Hungarian look about them. Unfortunately there aren't any marks, which may have been on the screwbacks...........thanks
Incredibly beautiful. I adore the section from the bale (if it is one) to the gorgeous pendant itself. This piece is to die for Jean!
Hi Karen, thank you so much for your gracious compliment.
