Vintage Sterling Necklace and Bracelet - Egyptian Style

After checking the Internet for some time, I suspect that this set might have been made in Italy. It is only marked "925" on the clasp of the necklace (several times) and on the bracelet as well. The difference is that on the bracelet "925" is inside an oval cartouche.

I believe that it dates to around the 1980's or a bit earlier.

The widest part of the necklace measures almost 2 inches. Each piece weights a bit over 53 grams, totaling 107 grams altogether. Because I had a coupon and the person preparing it for sale must have been dyslexic (she marked each piece as 35 grams), I got this set for way below the melt-down value.

The necklace is in mint condition, but the bracelet has been repaired close to the clasp. One cannot see it when it is worn.
