This is a great patch. This patch is obviously a military aviation patch. It is well made and believed to be late 1940 - early 1950s.
Mystery - What unit is it associated to? A friend, who I consider a WW2 military expert, has been unable to locate which unit. He placed it on a few sites to get some input and no one can solve the mystery. Can you?

There are several groups that use the top hat and shull. This exact patch has been difficult to place.
The mystery continues after three months.
