I purchased this floor lamp at auction because it is very unusual. I have searched the Internet to try to find age, maker, style and have not come across any help. It is 57 inches tall, weighs around 45 lbs, has black marble, brass and some type of metal. There is only one identifying mark on bottom underneath, 102m, I tried to get picture of it in one picture.

Can you help me identify it?

    Thanks.

    Jeff

Love the caryatids on this lamp. I have been researching mainly canadian lamps but have had my learning in american ones as well and I have never seen one like this one also. Unfortunately most american and even canadian lamps were basically unmarked. The black marble was not used much if at all. There is one company that may have had something to do with this lamp, looking at their work they made the best quality, which this is not, but comes closer than most.

What company do you think it might be? We are at a total blank. Also, we are thinking 1940's era, is that what you think as well.

Thanks for any info you can provide.
