On the same day I picked up the 1929 Chevy radiator cap I thought "Yes, I need something to keep this precious item safe". A quick run down the house wares aisle with the cap bouncing around in my pocket I was looking for just a nice box of some sort. Then I spotted this...the perfect display case. I tried the cap for size...hmmm a bit too short unless it's angled but it sure looked good ! It's actually a cotton ball and Q-tip container. The little drop down drawer on the bottom would have held your Q-tips. I put the price tag inside the drawer for posterity. I just added a piece of heavy black card stock to the bottom with a gold lid from a jar that fits just inside the cap's base to keep it from sliding around too much. Viola' instant display case ! -Mike-
