      Hello MALKEY - You have the best photographs - I wondered if this one was shot in a bowl of jello (U.S./Cda.) or jelly. Did you put some orange food colouring in there?

      The bottle looks pristine, and is superb. Thank you for telling me about the sword and sheath - is that symbolic of what it held, or a William Glendenning mark. I can see the word Trade, and the more I look at the other letters they look like 'mark'? So, have I answered by own question?

      Thanks for posting this prize of a bottle.

      hi Gillian the sword & sheath not symbolic of what it held it contained fizzy pop aerated mineral waters & the piccy in the mouth of the spring water with heavy iron deposits hence the orange colour through oxidation
