    Found this in a 108 yr old house. Mallet head appears to be made from animal hide wrapped tightly. Has C.R.M. CO. stamp on handle. Any information about this mallet would be treasured! Thanks.

      The age of the house has no bearing on the mallet. The head is leather and it is used for doing leather work. I have the same thing in two different sizes.
