Aqua embossed Pelican Soda Water bottle from Donaldsonville, LA

Full of embossed pelicans, also embossed on the bottles is SODA WATER and PROPERTY OF MONTERO AND BRANDE, INC. The bottom of the bottles are embossed with M&B, D'VILLE, LA. The bottom half of the bottles are actually squared instead of round, and the pelicans are beautiful. Newspaper ad from the Donaldsonville Chief in March, 1920 shows an article describing the bottling plant being built. A close relative saved 2 of these from the attic of my great-grandmother's farm house.
