This was a last minute purchase as I was leaving a thrift store they were putting out items and I saw the ships and had to have it, I love old paintings of ships, this one is so stormy and violent looking , signed Alonso ,love it

Thank You melaniej! I believe he is a Spanish artist ,but all I could find on a artist named Alonso from Spain were portraits nothing like this, I'll keep searching!
Did you ever find anything more about this artist? I purchased a similar painting today at a thrift store with the same signature.
