    During the lull at yesterday's market, I wandered over to the table of someone across from me. I saw this snuffbox in the cabinet. Measures 2 1/4" by 1 1/2". It's quite light, weighing in at 15.22 grams. The lid closes with a resounding *CLICK*. The third photo is of the bottom, which looks identical to the top. :-))))

    I will post a similar one I found on Pinterest down in the comments.

      scotty - I always look for snuff boxes, but only find the ridiculously high priced ones.

      How do you know - is it the design or the shape? I saw very few with that ribbed design pattern.

      fleafinder - I do have a pottery piece that dates to the 1700s and a tin glazed pottery bowl which dates to about 1820. Those are posted on here, somewhere.....
