Plastic Molded Hair Barbie

I found this old doll while cleaning out my mom's closet. There was a note from my great Aunt dated 2008 saying she had the doll for over 50 years and a friend had given it to her. The doll measures about 11 inches tall. She doesn't have any numbers on her but the words "Made in Hong Kong" are stamped on her back. The thing I thought was interesting is that she has plastic molded hair. I'm just curious about what kind of doll this is! Thanks.
