Advertising -- TEXACO & the NHL ( .... now my 3rd one )

Hi CW Gang:

..... and then there were THREE. I keep finding these, and keep buying them as maybe it is because I DO know the History of them and others by-pass them because they do not know. Anyways, Back in the 1980's when you got Gas from Texaco you got Puck with your Gas purchase. So theses are AN ADVERTISING PREMIUM. You collected all the teams pucks from back then ( as they WAS only 21 teams back then ) and then a Small fee you could buy the Wall Plaque to put them on. Some of the teams are no longer around, or have changed their logo. [eg] St louis Blues then, Winnipeg Jets then, Hartford Whalers, Quebec Nordiques....etc.

At the very bottom is the TEXACO LOGO. This is REAL WOOD and SOLID wood plaque. Kinda heavy !! Great old advertising premium, and Great item for the Hockey Player. Wood Plaque size was 22 inches by 23 inches. This was Good old days when YOU really got something when you got Fuel -- as in an ADVERTISING PREMIUM.

..... and yes I have 2 others, which have been posted also on CW. So i guess with 3 of these -- I NOW HAVE A COLLECTION. Just a Canadian Girl that loves her Hockey.

After all, hockey is Our fifth Season here.....LOL
