Very unusual vintage cork board / sign with wood frame. Features a smoking monkey with an eye patch scratching his head.

    It reads:

Plan Ahead. Thimk. Don't Just Do Something. Stand There.
    Do it Rigth. Follow Throug.
    Use Your He^D.

It measures approximately 16 inches long and 14 inches tall.

Curious to know more about this. Thanks!

Listed as being from the 1950s. No other information anywhere.

Hi Efesgirl, where did you find that info? We have it listed online for sale so am wondering if it was our listing.

We estimated it to be from the 1950's but haven't been able to find another one like it yet. Thanks for taking the time to reply. :-)

I have been trying to find one of these for a while. My grandfather had this same sign hanging in his woodshed in TN. It was the only thing of his I inherited. Unfortunately it was lost in a move some years ago. If anyone knows anything about this it would be appreciated.
