I couldn't resist this little Mickey clock, probably an oops moment Mickeysmagic. It's not in the best condition, as you can tell, but I took it apart and cleaned it up so think it looks better in the 2nd piccy. Now it's happily ticking away much to my husbands annoyance ha ha.
1930s, from what I can glean off the net - you did a great job with it!
Wonderful 1933 English Mickey, very nice....
Love it
Thank you Efesgirl def worth the time spent on it. Appreciate all the loves, thank you.
Very nice repair, it cleaned up nicely, congratulations!
Thank you Vonsboy. My first attempt at DIY !!
an oops moment that paid off, great find congratulations.
Hello again, after replying to your message I saw two Ingersoll pocketwatches on
eBay that look like things you've posted, a Mickey & Donald and a Donald that are on EBay if you haven't already seen them, I don't know how to forward the link to
you but the seller is someone called ernestoldwatches. Happy hunting!
Hi Vonsboy, thanx I had a look at these watches and am always tempted by early Ingersoll. But sadly, I think that with Christmas coming, I should probably save my ££ for prezzies from Santa ? I just don't have enough knowledge to know how much would be a good price for them considering their condition . Never mind, am a great believer in right time, right place.
You are absolutely right, the decision of what to collect and how to collect it is a very personal one and best left to the collector.
