Made of pottery appeared to have been used for flowers because it still had dirt in it. It measures about 8 3/4 inches in diameter and about 3 1/2 inches tall. Any information about this item is much appreciated.

Commanche Pottery, located in Commanche, Texas, is fairly recent. It began sometime in the early-to-mid 1980s and reports are that it has recently halted production.

It is probably more correct to call this "inspired by" Native American pottery.

Company was owned by Seth Allen. I have no knowledge about his ethnic background.
