This petite object stands about 4" tall and is about 2.5" in diameter. An opalescent pink glass is cased inside a metallic green glass, and the surface has randomly drizzled threads of the pink glass. Overall, the surface has a colorful metallic oxide iridescence. The rim is flared wide and polished. It is signed around the pontil - "Linda Lazzari 1978". I must admit that I haven't been able to find out too much about the artist. I'm still researching that, so if you can contribute any information, it would be much appreciated. I found the vase in a second-hand shop in Bowling Green, Ohio while on a visit. I love the vase though, and in some ways it reminds me of some of the works produced by Palme -Koenig.
