This necklace belongs to a friend of many years. I have it at my house for repair, which I completed earlier today. It belonged to her mother. My friend was going to give it away, but I told her I would fix it up and that she should keep it because it's so unique and because it belonged to mom.

I don't know what was wrong with it originally Bonnie, but it looks beautiful! You gave her the best advice to keep it as years from now she's going to appreciate having such a lovely momento of her mother!
Rick55 - the clasp had separated from the necklace, so I readjusted the necklace and refastened the clasps. There was also verdigris, which I scrubbed off with a child's toothbrush and a bit of dish soap.
