Old Iron and Brass Chair, Circa????

I got this chair recently. It looks old. The seat is reupholstered. I'm not sure if it is the original seat. It is heavy, iron I think. There are two small brass balls on the back of the chair. If anyone has any ideas on age or style I would love to get any ideas. Thanks
