I don't know much about this lamp. It was my grandmothers then it was in our house since I was a small child. I'm thinking it must be at least 50 years old but don't know much about it. Sadly there is no shade.
It is from the early 1950's, and it is made by metalcraft mfg co. out of Toronto, Canada. I have some early 50's Eaton's catalogs with these shown in them. I collect their lamps mainly for their parts. This is one of my favourites. I missed an auction here in my city a couple months ago with the matching ashtray. They also made the torchiere lamp with this flower part which was one of their nicest lamps. I believe the ads had a name for this one particular lamp but cannot remember it right now.
