My dad bought China while in Japan in the Navy in 1955. He bought 17 dinner wear sets. I am not finding any information on a google search for SEIKO China. He did say that some of the patterns he bought were available in the US at Sears. A few of the pieces were broken during shipping and the replacement pieces cost more than the purchase of the whole set in Japan. I am just wondering why I can't find any information on these if they were common.
