I found these porcelain globes in the attic of a cottage my grandfather purchased in the late 50's on Long Island. Before it was a cottage, it was a service station. After cleaning them up they all seem to be in good condition with some small chips around the edges. I'm not sure of the value or year, but I'm guessing 1930's-1940's? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Beautiful items. I do not think that they are Porcelain, instead they are glass that has been enamel painted. Originally they were used in lights that were on top of gasoline pumps. They are referred to as Globes, and can be worth quit a bit of money. You should look around for the collars that held them in place. Look on eBay for Gasoline light globes, you'll see what I am refering to.
