As promised to Malkey - they are 13.5" tall with a Martele surface texture. About 4" diameter at the base. The teal colored glass at the top fades to the clear glass at the bottom. The surface has an applied metallic oxide iridescence. The lip is crimped and fire polished giving the impression of a bud about to open. The pontil marks are polished off. c. 1895 - 1915. They look great on a dining table with single long stem roses in each! (But I've only dared to do that once :)
striking pieces Bob & the graduation of colour fab the surface texture works very well indeed

Thanks once again Sean!
Bob, I am so pleased! I just found one of these for myself (finally!) tonight. I'll post it when it arrives. I have always wanted a Rindskopf in this color and shape, and your vase really inspired me. Luck was with me tonight! :)
That's wonderful Michelle!!!
