Found this beautiful Eisenberg Sterling ring size 6. It's also in an old Eisenberg ice ad but it's not marked Eisenberg ice, just Eisenberg, the size and Sterling . I'm not looking for an appraisal but was hoping someone could help me date it. I posted the old ad that it's featured in which doesn't have a date either. Everything I've seen online says that Eisenberg only made Sterling items from 1943-1948 but I've seen other items saying they are from the 30s that are Sterling. Could use some help if anyone has time. Thanks!

I did some extensive research and read many articles. Karl Eisenberg (grandson of founder, Jonas Eisenberg) took over the company later on and he has an article on this very site, collectors weekly. He said they only did Sterling items from 1940-1945 while lead was being used for the efforts of world war 2. That's some sound information from a very reliable source. The only thing that puzzles me is that the ring appears in that AD which is from vogue magazine in 1948. So maybe the ring in the ad is the same design , just made later with other metal other than Sterling. Either way , like you said, it's a great ring and I'm hoping it will get to the right buyer. I'm a guy so I don't have much use for it. I just know vintage jewelry quite well so when I saw this at the thrift store for 4.99, I had to buy it. Lol
