I bought this walnut wishbone dresser in Cincinnati yesterday (11/4/16). It doesn't have the typical carved leafy drawer pulls, so I'm interested in finding out what style the drawer pulls are and what Era this piece belongs to. Every dresser I've found with similar.racetrack moulding, has large medallion pulls or plain round knobs. I believe it dates between 1870-1890. More info is appreciated!

      Welcome to CW painter_kari -

I've been researching, trying to find drawer pulls like yours - well, yours would seem to be unique. I found wooden ones the same as you did. But I don't think the pulls detract in any way from your dresser. The mirror is beautiful - is it original to the dresser?

I would say the "era" of the dresser is late Victorian, (Eastlake style?), into the early 1900's (I say that because of the style of the drawer pulls). You can find many look-a-likes online. Here's a CW example from a year ago that you may find interesting:

I have seen pieces with this type of pulls before. They certainly aren't common, nor are they unique.

You are correct on the dating-- I'd put it toward the end of the 19th century.

I've seen a ton of walnut wishbone dressers, but I can't find a single picture online of one with this drawer pull. They either have the rococo leaf type, knob, or hanging knob. I'm curious, Scott, if you could post an example.
