These are some of the vintage pottery I've collected. The color in the 1st and 3rd pictures are not green. They're more turquoise. The 3rd pic is the lamp base I found long time ago. The last picture has been confirmed to be Persian. Found one exactly like it in Google. Linked to EBay but was unable to find that particular vase.. I guess it must have been too long ago and was dropped from the file.

Besides finding known (to me) vintage pottery I like going with my "gut feeling" about a piece and buying it (if reasonable and I like it) and doing lots and lots of research on the piece. I never get tired of researching.

With the aqua/turq I like to mix in white vintage pottery.
My experience with washing a piece (running water inside) has had some ill effects. I've twice heard a crack sound there it wasn't visible before. I must note, it was only on porcelain type of ceramics. Not the vintage pottery, just to be clear.

      You didn't ask but...
Last pic, piece in the background is Gladding McBean (but possibly marked Catalina). I see some McCoy and the small matte green vase, first pic, bottom row is Rumrill (often referred to as "Ohio Rumrill" by collectors, since it wasn't produced by Redwing)
