    Hi CW Gang:

    SCHOOL TIME.....LOL.

Here is a Nice old Black Metal steel Lunch Kit ( or lunch box as some call it ). This one has a leather handle on it, so I found the ones with the leather handles are older ( of course ) that the medal ones like this but with a plastic handle. This is in pretty good shape for it age!! I think it is from around the 1920's or so. This is marked with GSW CANADA on the bottom which stands for GENERAL STEEL WARES. GSW metals made early things. Okay ...CLASS IS OVER, Recess time!!

Thanks for LOOKING // LOVING !!

GENERAL STEEL WARES. GSW metals made early things -- and also made metal things for the Wars, so always collectiable stuff

Here is some info on the THE BRODIE HELMET made by GSW in 1942

My grandpa carried one, very much likes this one, every day to work in the 1950s/1960s. I wish it was still around, I would love to have had it.

My dad carried a similar one, made in the U.S. of course, to work every day for nearly 30 years, but packed with a Japanese lunch that my mother made for him!!! [;>)))

What is a typical Japanese lunch? Would chopsticks be in the lunch box? Or is that just for Chinese food??What about a fortune cookie instead of a chocolate chip?? I myself would like a fortune cookie more!
