Hi, I would love to know more about this tall narrow
Chest of drawers like is it French? or artdeco? And when it may have been made and is it rare I've never seen one like this where the drawers go all the way to the floor the center is a pull Dow drawer but I think the inside is missing the marble ? On all 4 sides any more information would be gladly appreciated thank for reading.
Look very similar to one my Great Grandmother had, the drop down door was where the porcelain potty ( or guzunder) (goes under)( as my nan called it )was kept during the night , usually a matching wash bowl and large water pitcher was on top. I cant remember what was in the smaller drawers. Hope this helps , it may not be the intended purpose but it is what it was used for way back when by my G.G Ma.
